Texas Day 1
Dec. 24th, 2003 11:22 pmI made it to San Antonio just fine. A big thanks to
jeliza for the ride to the airport this morning. I arrived in excess of 2 hours ahead of my flight in case things were a mess and it turned out security was a breeze at SeaTac--although getting into the airport itself took a while with the 'security gate' setup at the entrance. It is amazing how exhausting sitting on your butt for 7+ hours can be... Between 2 hours of time shift, a 4+ hour flight to St Louis, and a 2 hour flight to SAT I'm wiped.
It looks like the 'thing I forgot' for this trip was my glasses. The ones I have are 5+ years old, so it is probably time to get new ones anyhow--especially since I have a vision plan at Sierra. Sounds like I'll be making a trip to Eyemasters or the equivalent while I'm in Texas.
I hope to be up to Austin Friday...
