2005 hits the shredder...
Jan. 1st, 2013 03:26 pmHappy New Year! So is it "013" or has the new century finally hit the "Teens"?
As has become a tradition, 2005 is out and 2012 papers are into the file cabinet. That was my first full year working for MSFT. I spoke at Game Developer Conference, Microsoft Meltdown, and the Austin Game Conference. Went to the Russian GDC event with a stop over in Amsterdam, traveled to South Korea twice with a stop over in Japan, attended E3 & SIGGRAPH, and had a lot of smaller business trips. I was doing a ton of RPGA games including a lot of out-of-town gaming conventions including Winter Fantasy, GenCon Indy and GenCon SoCal; going on lots of dates with
jeliza; and basically doing a ton of travel for both work and play.
It was also the year of the now infamous "dog eats dough, lands in ER" Christmas story that never seems to get old...
