cuddlyeconomist and I went with Rhys and some friends to see
Harry Potter 7 today. It was quite good, but I wish we didn't have to wait 9 months for the second part... They managed to condense the first half pretty well, cutting out a lot of potentially confusing subplots. Frankly
Deathly Hallows reads a bit too much like
Lord of the Rings for a while being a lot about walking, camping, and starving without that much actually happening beyond characters suffering. Perhaps it is an important journey to read, but it would make for dull cinema.
