Weekend

cuddlyeconomist is back in Texas this weekend for a birthday shin-dig and to visit her boy. I have a few things for work to accomplish over the weekend to get ahead of the crunch, as well as get some specific projects around the house done. Somewhere in there, jeliza and I should have a date and hopefully go see Hellboy 2. The first movie rocked, and was perhaps the best and most believable portrayal of Cthulu Mythos inspired horror evar!.

The next two weekends are booked with Summerstar, Gamefest during the week, then the annual OLOTEAS campout.

August doesn't get any slower really.

I'm trying not to spend a lot of time wondering what life will be like after the summer. I have been living a rather quiet and lonely life for a decade. I'm really enjoying having company day-in and day-out, and it will be hard to go back to the austere existence. Still, you can never tell what the future will hold for good or ill.

For now, I'm super busy and when I'm not busy, I'm not spending day after day on my own...

On the other hand, I'm super pleased with my new TiVo so I at least have hours of TV to pass the quieter moments.
