Jun. 8th, 2007 07:58 pmMy fourth trip to Seoul is now concluded. I'm packed, soon to check out, and then after lunch I'll be headed back to Incheon for my long flight home.
My last night in Korea was a typical evening out on the town. Dinner at "Mad for Garlic", which turns out be a Tony Roma's franchise, then Karaoke. Two Karaoke places in fact. It's easier to enjoy when half of the songs others are murdering are not only unfamiliar, but in a language you don't even speak. Booze also helps. I learned that while I love many ballads, the best choices for Karaoke are loud obnoxious songs that everyone knows. Punk acts like The Sex Pistols are also good since there's very little actual 'singing' involved. Also, there are a stunning amount of Stryper songs in the Korean Karaoke database.
