Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
May. 25th, 2007 12:01 amIt was is indeed a fun movie. While full of Bruckheimer silliness, it was better than the second film and a worthy end to the trilogy. Depp fans, Bloom fans, and pirate fetishists will love this one. It has a number of references to the classic ride in the dialogue and sound track, features some amazing effects, some twisty turns of plot, and great lines. Some critic thought it was "too complicated and confusing", which just goes to prove that critics are a big reason why American movies are so dumbed-down. Ignore them. If you liked the first two, this one is well worth the 3 hours, and as with the first two make sure you stick through the credits.
