walbournWell, I did my imitation of Jordan from Real Genius and instead of going to bed at a reasonable hour, I painted a room--a choice I'm sure my neighbors appreciated over sawing up more flooring boards after midnight.
The hives that started last Sunday had mostly disappeared, but my arms were starting to get tingly while painting so I think it is something in the vapor from the acrylic interior paint. I made sure there was plenty of ventilation and took a number of breaks to go outside and breathe some clear air. That combined with proactive taking of Benedryl will hopefully keep the hives from becoming a major issue. It's all on my forearms at least and not elsewhere.
In other news I think the light rain we are getting tonight is going to make my lawn into "Weed Nirvana". It's mostly been dead due to lack of rain--the grass around here is pretty pussy about lack of water within the last 24 hours and turns dead brown pretty fast. Anyhow, I had been putting off the yard issues while focusing on the interior, but I wonder if I'll need to get a hold of those landscapers soon than later now that the lawn's been watered.
In case the obsession with homeownership status wasn't obvious given that has really all I've been posting about for weeks, I was filled with glee this morning when my trash cans were finally emptied. Trash Day made my week.
