As Washington is an escrow state, all the signing takes place before the closing date. Today I signed all the paperwork, set up the wire transfer for the final closing costs, and it all magically happens on Tuesday at which point I get the keys.
My god, I'm a homeowner. Or put more aptly: Holy sh*t, I have a mortgage!
