Feb. 27th, 2003 02:46 pmPretty quiet day so far... As always seems to be the case, I'm really interested in working on project "X" and I'm assigned work on project "Y" :> Focus, Chuck, focus. Project "Y" being working on the game logic ahead of schedule, and project "X" being more 'tools & technology' work which I really enjoy.
Ran a Living Greyhawk game last night for some friends. The gamer buddies were fun and amusing as always, although I'm not really enthused by spending my evening at Cardhaus in a stuffy room full of Crack the Gathering players. At least we were able to use the 'quiet' space to run. The fact that Cardhaus provides free space for local gamer stuff is great, but free often also equates to noisy, crowded, and sometimes unsavory. At least with 'pay to play' conventions the facilities are usually more pleasant. I'm looking forward to playing at Gamestorm.
Hopefully I'll be able to get out of work in time to make it to Poly Crossroads this evening.
