Seems like the day before a major event is when all the stress is poured on. Between getting ready for the conference tomorrow, still wrangling a few speakers who haven't quite gotten ready for their talk tomorrow, responding to various bugs before being swamped for the week, trying to get the August version of the DirectX SDK approved for release, and being drug in to help with an interview loop, I still managed to get time to hang out with Todd on his final evening in Seattle for this trip.
Dinner at Icon Grill, a trip to REI for some shopping, and watching Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. Good fun.
I have to get up at stupid 'o clock tomorrow and get down to the Sheraton. Going to be a busy two days with the conference, a few days of catching up, and then next week is SIGGRAPH.
Busy ass summer.
Busy is good in general, but it does seem like it is either madness or boredom and seldom a nice sustainable balance.
