Todd's Visit Weekend
Jul. 25th, 2005 12:29 amFairly low-key day today. The original plan a few months back was to do some house-shopping while Todd was in town, but I've decided to hold off until next year to do the serious house-hunting thing and use the time to save up for the down-payment. We chatted a bit about the kinds of things I'm interested in about a house and called it good.
Brunch at Julia's on Broadway, a bit of hanging around in Volunteer Park, tea at Dilettante, a quick showing at a co-worker's BBQ, dinner with
loree in West Seattle, and finished up with some Eddie Izzard DVDs.
Saturday was good as well. Brunch with
jeliza,
rubylou,
drakemonger, and their friend Lori from out of town at Alki Cafe--natch! We then did some driving around Snoqualmie (never did find a good hiking trail, clearly needed more planning but picturesque none-the-less), dinner, and then Charlie & the Chocolate Factory--'cause Todd lives in NYC and it's a chance to see a movie for less than $20 a head.
