Texas bound

walbournI'm off to my flight to A-Kon after a lunch meeting. I'm looking forward to a few days of Living Greyhawk silliness with old gamer buddies, wandering the halls of anime mayhem and amateur fetish wear (aka Cosplay), and then a few days down in Austin hanging out with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
onyxlynxx, maggiemaepisces, and whoever else might be available to visit.
And yes I plan to eat a lot of Tex-Mex.
I was just commenting to a co-worker and former Texas resident that while I once considered the flight to Texas a little long, 4 hours on a plane sounds pretty reasonable compared to 13. Still, more than 2 hours in coach is pretty sucky.
About the only part of my trip planning that didn't come together was finding a roomie to split my room at A-Kon, but all-in-all that'd only have been a $150 savings. Nice, but not required. Oh, and the convention wasn't able to get any new Living Force mods to offer, but that's hardly news with the way Lucasfilm and RPGA HQ have been the past year or so...
