I've been failing lately on my plan to post something weekly. I really hate to see the whole world of the Nets turn into "overly cheerful, lack of real engagement, wait I didn't mean to post that to the while world" Facebook, but lately I've also been damn busy.

Having a 4 month old and working a more-than-full-time job can do that to a fella.

Let's see.

[livejournal.com profile] cuddlyeconomist and I celebrated our 'camp-o-versary' last month with a Sunday-night stay at the Salish Lodge. She enjoyed their spa, I enjoyed hanging out with Professor X in the room and we had room service for dinner and breakfast. Given how hard it is to get Margo to relax, it was well worth the trip.

We took Chase to the "Tiny Tots" show at the Seattle Symphony *clap clap clap*, which was odd, but he seemed to enjoy it.

Thanksgiving dinner was lovely. We did it at Denise & Dave's again this year along with [livejournal.com profile] loree and [livejournal.com profile] tithonium. We had Rhys for this year's Thanksgiving, and it was our first with Chase, so doing our share of the cooking was a bit stressful but it turned out great.

DrB and ProfX are off to Maryland to visit with her mom this weekend. Unfortunately for me, the oven seized up in the middle of a self-clean cycle so I'm sans stove & oven until Friday. So it's griddling and possibly grilling in the cold for me in the meantime. Thankfully it is still under extended warranty.

I took a break from the new Lord of the Rings Online expansion and have been playing Skyrim. Oh the legendary Bethesda brokeness and bugs, how I've missed you. At least you can't be griefed playing it--well at least by other people, perhaps by the bugs.
