Fun movie. Obviously violent and subsumes the immorality of professional killers, but I thought it actually had a sentimental feel to it. Lots of pretty people and shit blowing up. What's not to love?

The Stranger hated it. Their review ends with "Pretty people making pretty explosions does not a good movie make." Actually, I differ with that opinion. Not every movie needs to be Oscar worthy or even all that deep.

Since I got back from Austin, I've spent a fair amount of time coughing my lungs up, but also getting caught up on work, doing laundry, cleaning house, having dinner with [livejournal.com profile] loree, a fun date with [livejournal.com profile] jeliza, some gaming, seeing Mr. & Mrs. Smith and finally catching up on a few months worth of back-logged recorded TV.

Turns out I didn't get the very last episode of Enterprise recorded. Now, it hasn't been a great series but I'm big on closure. It's not being re-run anywhere I can find, so I guess I'm stuck for the foreseeable future. I want to see how they ended things with Tucker & T'Pol. I'm kinda of a sucker for a love story between a engineer and a hot but emotionally ill-equipped scientist with pointy ears and untapped sexual passion. Go figure?

Update: Seems from some web reviews that I woudl have just been annoyed at the final espisode. They never let the engineer get the girl. Grr. Honestly, Rick Berman has been a blight on Trek for years. Sadly, he seems like the only one who isn't losing a job out of the death of the franchise.
