Made it back from Norwescon in one piece... I had a good time overall, but this con just felt off for the most part. I did a lot of different things while there: attended a few panels; played an RPGA round; hung out with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
loree, jeliza (both with and without the presence of ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
divinemisso), rubylou, drakemonger, and many others; spent a little time wandering the dealer's room and the art show, checked out a few room parties, attended the dances for a while, and even spent a fair chunk of time sitting around the hotel room watching TV and eating room-service. As a result, I'm left feeling like I didn't do anything at all. Nice, distracting, but not really memorable.
Oh well.
Hopefully next year the con staff will be more experienced and organized, the dance music will be more to my liking, the gaming will have more attendance, and I might even volunteer to help run a few of the game industry panels rather than just kibitzing at them.
