Cool unit of measurements

The LoveLace (Ll) reminds me of a joke hdan and I used to have about writing simulation engines using "Furlongs Per Fortnight" as a standardized unit of speed. This joke arose because we were stunned to discover the flight simulation engine we were using used FEET as the standard unit of measure. Everybody knows that imperial measurements are reserved only for attempts at explicatives on Star Trek and stupid American cars and associated gas pumps. Down with IMPERIAL measurements, METRIC DAMN YOU!

Wow, an entire weekend without me playing or judging an RPG. Next weekend is RadCon, which I'm planning to attend. Only two games there I haven't played, but there should be other things to do at the con as well.

Had a quick dinner with jeliza last night, and otherwise have been just hanging out at home attempting to get some housework done--when I'm not distracted by the TV. One of my gamer buddies is throwing a party of some sort tonight, that I will likely attend, and tomorrow I'm thinking of attending a TERRA Witches' Brew for the first time in quite a while.

I slept in pretty seriously this morning, getting up close to noon. Lots of intense and vivid dreams with the usual cast of players (ex-wife, Kim, Andrea, various people from Sci-fi). Sometimes I wonder others would consider the dreams stupid, ridiculously angsty, or incomprehensible. None of the details are coming to me now, so I can't really attempt to narrate them.
