"Hero"

Finally managed to see Hero tonight. Very cool film. It isn't quite as emotionally intense as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, but it isn't like three movies in one either. Great visuals, great martial arts, and great characters. The use of color is stunning. As my brother said, it is amazing what you can do with an army of inexpensive Chinese labor and thousands of yards of cloth.

The most visually stunning fight is between the two female leads as yellow leaves fly about them. Hot asian girls, swords, cool supernatural flying and wind, and the images of Fall (my favorite season). Just... wow. I need a moment...
