loree and I went to watch Shrek 2 at the Cinerama. If you liked Shrek, then you'll like the sequel as it is much of the same. The critic at The Stranger bitched about the lack of originality, but how does one do a sequel to something that is original and does not ruin it? The new characters were fun and it was non-stop puns and pop-culture references, and a good time was had by all...
Lots of ankle-biters at the 4:30pm Fri showing of course, but the mezzanine was sparsely populated and reasonably isolated from the squeals of joy :>
