walbournAs a fellow over-explainer, you'd think that John Kerry's long-winded over-explanatory non-answers would bother me less... they don't. Oh well, it isn't like Bushie-Boy comes across as anything less than a poorly trained monkey in interviews, but I find Kerry fairly annoying. Come to think of it, all the front-runners are fairly boring, very white, Christian/elite duplicate Dems.
In the end, "Anybody But Bush" is really the only thing that matters to me this time around... It would just be nice if any of the candiates seemed less like the 'lesser of two evils'.
I'm deeply hopeful that Bush, and more importantly his heavy-handed war cabinet, are shown the door in 2004. At the same time, I doubt that the Dems will take back either house and we'll be back to the Clinton-years of a Congress hostile to the President. At least that seems better than what we have now. I don't want the Repubs in charge as they are deeply scary people, but the Dems are just as bad in their own way. The founding fathers understood that factionalism was our only true protection, but gods it is messy...
