I'm not sure how to feel about things these days... Maybe too many years of coping with depression has distanced me from my emotional state, maybe I'm just not sure what to feel. In general, I'm keeping busy and enjoying work. The Iraq situation is scary in an abstract sort of way, but the writing been on the wall for months--and it isn't like the Bush administration's strengths include domestic politics or diplomacy, so war shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. I don't really feel like I have a 'life' with a capital L, but I have a few friends to spend free time with and continuing to invest in ways to meet more people.

I can say I'm looking forward to summer and the sunnier days that go with it. Driving back from lunch today feeling the warmth of the sun on my face through the moon roof of my car made me realize how much I miss strong, bright sunlight. I don't miss the heat of Texas, but it was never short on sunshine...
