walbournI was originally thinking of posting a one-line "Meh." as a joke, but that wouldn't in fact be fair to 2006...
2006 started off with a boondoggle speaking at a Microsoft conference held on a cruise to Cozumel with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
jeliza as my guest. In March I went to Chicago to play the finale of Living Force with the people who I had primarily played with online. Was still doing a lot of travel for work that year, with several trips to Canada, attending both GDC and SIGGRAPH as well.
That was also the year I got reorged into the Xbox division--I was originally hired to work in the Windows division back when MSFT had divisions :)
I bought my house, moved to West Seattle, and worked my tushie off doing the renovations.
I also managed to fall flat on my face in the parking lot and ended up with 5 stiches above my eye.
