Koshka Update

walbournI took the kitty to the vet yesterday for a regular check-up. The bloodwork came back fine except that her thyroid level is now too high. She's at about 6.1# and holding, and the high thyroid level is probably keeping her from gaining more weight.
So she'll be on twice daily pills (up to 3 pills a day now, joining the ranks of the rest of the elderly), but they said in a few months we can recheck and consider going the "Glow In The Dark Kitty" route which would eliminate the need for the thyroid pill twice a day. jeliza et al just had to do it with their kitty so I'll be asking her more about it.
