walbournHad a good time at Marty's birthday party last night. It was actually a bit more quiet than I'm used to for a Marty and Loree party, but most of the regulars were there along with a few new faces. I got a chance to interact with a few people I've seen at previous parties, get to know them a little better, and generally mingle with a social group far larger than my own personal social circle in the area.
Notable events: a Babylon 5 episode and watching of all three Wallace & Gromit shorts; several displays of Dana's underwear (which apparently had some sort of Futurama theme print); listening to the soundtrack to Buffy: The Musical; discussions on server ventilation, naming of Marty's new car, local ren fairs, where to find 11+ sized women's boots, Microsoft corporate culture, and the geometry of cloven-fruit construction. The hot-tub utilization was fairly low, and for a booze-consumption report, you'll have to ask the hosts :>
