Dreams about Kim and Andrea have become a standard metaphor in bad dreams, like the classic 'naked in high school' or 'have an exam today for a class you didn't even know you signed up for' dreams. They are always about loss, about being replaced by someone else, about the anguish of feeling so much and getting nothing in return.
I guess I should just be grateful I don't wake up and feel morose all day after dreams like that these days. Still, it would be nice to have something good to dream about for a change...
Sadly, I suspect as the weeks of my impending uemployment drag on, the experience is likely to trigger more stress dreams and agnst over where my life has ended up after all those years of wasted effort trying to build a life instead of just a career--particularly when the career thing stops paying the bills...
