Jun. 11th, 2007 12:21 amIt's after midnight and I'm not really sleepy. Not a good sign for my readjusting to GMT-8 from GMT+9. I did manage to get to bed at a reasonable hour last night, but slept in until 1pm because (a) I had no plans for the day and (b) I felt like it. About all I really managed today was brunch at Alki Cafe, killing a brand new hoe digging up some damn blackberries in the yard, and clearing off a bunch of stuff on my DVR.
Saturday was a nap followed by a nice, relaxing date with
jeliza including dinner at Ephesus. Did a bit of laundry and some grocery shopping, and otherwise dealt with a pushy, lonely cat.
Had a chat with my brother Saturday night. Looks like he'll be coming out to visit the last two weeks of August. Still waiting to hear if I'll be speaking at the Austin Game Conference first week of September, but I'd love to make it back to Austin sometime sooner than later. I've been considering attending CMA Samhain this year. There's a lot of Texas folks I've been missing, and I do love the weather in Texas Fall. Still have the ghost of Kim to contest with, but damn if I haven't given up enough already to her without missing yet another chance to enjoy myself for a weekend with some old friends. Of course, I'll have to bum off said friends since travelling 2300 miles with full camp gear by air is a bitch.
Anyhow, not much planned for the week so far other than work. I need to find out what the hell Home Depot has done about my flooring order--likely nothing--and then go order what I need from somewhere else. The next two weekends have some stuff to keep me busy, but not much else is planned until mid-July's trip to Summerstar.
