It's actually been a fairly media-full week.

Children of Men was pretty good, although it's best if you don't analyze it much. The plot is silly, the setting is preposterous--although sadly the immigration policy and totalitarian bs is not--but it's still a hell of a ride.

Pan's Labyrinth (actually "Labyrinth of the Faun") is beautifully done, but difficult to watch at times. I found myself averting my eyes in a number of scenes because the visuals were a bit disturbing. A very dark fairy tale, but a very good one. It's no Disney, which is perhaps it's best quality.

Sponge-Bob Square-Pants: The Movie is surprisingly funny even to an adult. The songs are fun, the characters are cute, the dialog is twistedly funny, and they even have a fight scene on the back of David Hasselhof. What's not to love?

The Wonderfalls T.V. show was awesome. Between that and Firefly, I wish that someone would fire every programming exec that works at FOX for cancelling great shows before they even get a full season out. Screw American Idol. Screw it right in the ear.
