May. 24th, 2005 06:40 amBeen a busy and surreal few days. Lots of meetings and presentations with real-time translation, walking to and from the subway, and stairs. Lots of stairs.
The strangeness of a city on the opposite side of the world, jet lag, strange food, and hanging out with three levels of my immediate management when they are drinking all proved to be an amusing if strange experience. I just wrapped up my last night in Seoul hanging out at "O'Kims Irish Bar" here in the Westin listening to some Russian band doing covers of disco tunes in pseudo-English.
Whacky.
I head back to the States tomorrow. To save money, I booked a round-trip from LAX but that means I'm flying an extra 2 hours from Seattle to LAX, waiting a few hours for a flight, and then flying another 2 hours home. I'll just be glad to be back in my own bed.
