Road Trip

We went on our first road trip with the Chase: a one-night stay in Portland to attend a party for one of DrB's school friends. Other than feeling like we packed for the Donner Party, it went pretty smoothly. Chase slept until we stopped in Centralia for lunch, starting to fuss just as we pulled in to stop. He then made it all the way to Beaverton as we were about to pull up to the hotel before waking up a second time. We ended up getting to the party properly around 8pm. He was charming, cute, and mostly unconscious the whole time we were there.

The trip home was pretty smooth as well, although we had to pull over about 30 minutes from home to let him eat before pressing on.

We also managed brunch Saturday before we left Seattle with tithonium and loree, and brunch Sunday with rose_water and family before leaving Portland.
