Enough culture to make yogurt
Nov. 15th, 2009 06:30 pmWe went to see Carmina Burana put on by the Seattle Symphony. It was pretty darn cool with three chorus combined together. Today we went to see a second ballet which was actually four 'mini ballets' for the "Directors' Choice" show. The good news it was devoid of puppets and mimes. The bad news was the West Side Story Suite was really more a Buscial or perhaps a Musallet. In the next few weeks we'll be going to see a play (Equivocation) another ballet (the Nutcracker).
I think we are in danger of being too cultured. We need to engage in something low-brow and coarse to balance it out, or we might be forced to buy iPhones, Macbooks, and/or tickets to the opera. We missed some appropriate opportunity because on the way back from the ballet there was a bus for Gene Simon's Axe and a couple of kids wearing full KISS make-up and wigs in front of the Key Arena...
