Sep. 8th, 2009 10:12 pmA very well done movie, but I'm not sure I really enjoyed watching it. It certainly had it's moments, and felt like a grittier, nastier version of Alien Nation. I guess Apartiet is the new Nazi, and it was certainly a damning portrayal of the human instict to distrust the other.
The really sad part is that all the slums were not digital sets, but real live locations you can still see today.
And Peter, what's up with the bug pron fixation? Maybe we can get a version of King Kong that is an hour shorter if you just trimmed out the bug pron there too.
