Floor Update
May. 13th, 2007 10:27 pmAfter two full weekends of work, I finally have the 115 sq feet of kitchen vinyl sheet floor in place. That just leaves the utility room (another 150 sq feet or so). Gotta buy another gallon bucket of adhesive, and probably take another two weekends to do all the floor prep in the last room. Then installing new moulding, reinstalling the counter kick boards, and rebuilding the door jam again.
The flooring part is pretty easy and simpler to cut in a relatively square room, but damn the prep is killer. Looks like the whole project will probably run me about $800, most of that being the flooring material itself--Todd does have expensive tastes :> Still cheaper than the bamboo hardwood by a fair bit.
In any case, I again have a kitchen and the new floor does indeed look nice.
