Had a fine dinner last night at Chuy's, lunch today at Serrano's, and a quick dinner at Thundercloud Subs. The meetings went well.
We managed an earlier flight to DFW in the hopes of getting to SeaTac earlier. The flight arrived in DFW 10 minutes ahead of schedule. We then sat around for 40 minutes waiting for our gate to be free.
So now I'm boarding my original second flight, along with a mother clearly overwhelmed by her two small children on a packed 3 1/2 hour flight.
This job is so glamorous. Not.
Update: Make that several parents with a host of small children and a platoon of U.S. soldiers being redeployed to Iraq, some of whom no longer feel the rules of etiquette in civilian society should apply to them--no matter what your opinion on military service, not a pleasant thing to have to endure in closed quarters for several hours.
