17 Time-zones later...
May. 25th, 2005 06:19 pmAfter spending a billion hours on flights and waiting in airports, I'm home again. Next time I'm sticking to direct flights from Seattle to Korea on Asiana or Northwest Air. Korean Air was so-so, and the trip from LA adds 2-3 hours each way.
Got a pile of laundry to do, and have to stay awake until at least 9pm tonight. I've been up for something like 24 hours with only a few fitful hours of sleep on the flights. I'm remarkably awake at the moment, but I suspect I'll crash really hard soon enough.
BTW, the strangest job I saw in Korea: formal greeters using a PA to welcome each and every car that entered the parking garage of the shopping center in downtown Seoul. Naturally most people had their windows up and probably couldn't hear them.
Update: I must have broken my circadian clock. I've been up for most of 27 hours and I'm not really sleepy.
