Had a great dinner last night for jeliza's birthday at the Olive Garden, and it was nice to see drakemonger and rubylou given that we don't hang out regularly at Third Place these days. Good times indeed.

Spent most of this afternoon/evening hanging out and clearing off episodes from my DVR. The new Battlestar Galactica is damn dark, but I'm enjoying it. I even saw my two favorite Deep Space Nine episodes since I caught them a while back: Rejoined and Trials and Tribble-lations. I've watched all the Trek series ever made, and I think DS9 was probably the best for compelling stories and characters.

I picked up a carpet steam cleaner yesterday to get rid of Koshka's art project on the bedroom floor--she apparently felt the need to change the color one 3 inch area at a time. Bleck. Naturally she felt the need to start over on the clean canvas, so I had to use it again today. Damn cat.

All in all, a relaxing and enjoyable weekend.

The new woman on Monk is pretty hot. Quirky, but cute. Being a person with OCD, the show is damn funny in that way only making fun on one's own flaws can be. I guess as long as my weakness for crazy-girls remains focused on fictional women, I'm safe :>
