After putting it down a week or so, I finished up Knights of the Old Republic 2. It was actually kind of a weak end-game with some incomplete story paths and the epilogue was done more or less in a conversation dialog tree. I guess they figure I've already put 30+ hours into the thing so they don't have to make the ending all that strong. Still, fun way to kill many an evening.

Koshka is off to the vet in the morning, so I should get to bed. It is an all-day appointment, so I'm sure she'll be thrilled with me when I pick her up tomorrow afternoon.

While out on lunch, I saw a car bumber sticker with a cropped version of The Scream with the text: "Four more years..."

So I got a haircut on my lunch break, and the stylist inquired about my "thinning hair". Now it isn't news to me--I've been seeing my father in the mirror more as the years roll by--, but I wasn't sure how to take the comment. It was a lot like when rubylou commented on my "lovely salt and pepper coloring in the sunlight" after brunch last year.

The reality is I'm a low-maintenance hair kind of guy, so I won't put a lot of work or money into reclaiming my youth, but I guess it is hard not to be a little self-conscious about it...
