Salish Lodge is pretty swank. Nice view of the Snoqualmie Falls, whirl-pool bathtub and fireplace in the rooms, wireless internet, and good food. A tad on the pricey side, but if you are looking for a nice 'weekend getaway' place you could do worse. And unlike the last hotel I stayed in, nice heavy blankets and soft oversized pillows!

The Window Graphics Summit is going pretty well, although I'm mostly a 'fly on the wall' this year. Lots of industry luminaries, techno-babble,and interesting conversation. Oh, and heavy drinking for those into that sort of thing.

Well, the Windows Graphics Summit is done. There's record flooding going on up-stream, so the Snoqualmie is having a crazy amount of water flow over the falls. Its damn impressive, and a little scary. One of the people in my group is at home near the Middle Fork sandbagging her house.
