This one was good fun. It is refreshing to see a movie that made absolutely no attempt to worry about physics, the limits of material science, historical details, or even let little details like continuity ruin the fun. It is indeed an homage to all the classic serials. As the review in the The Stranger pointed out, it is probably a little too true to the source material to be something that most of the modern audience would actually 'get'...

As someone else said as the credits were rolling, "That is *exactly* what I expected the film to be like. It rocked."

Microsoft has this policy that treats MP3s like pirated software. You aren't allowed to have them on your MS provided systems. That's a real pain because I have all my legally purchased CDs converted to MP3s so I could listen to them at work without messing with hundreds of CDs...

So I've been without music at work for a month.

Most people listen to Internet radio to work around the problem. Today I noticed an Internet radio station that seems to fit the bill for my music tastes:

NTGR FM - ALL WOMEN, ALL DAY
