Fun movie. Don't sweat the science and you'll enjoy it. I agree with [livejournal.com profile] faecat in the "Kirsten Dunst gets on my nerves" aspect of the movie, but ignoring that it was good acting, fun story, great dialogue, nifty CGI, and yet another utterly ridiculous villian premise :>

So I've been having problems with my cel phone for a few months now... the thing reboots spontaneously, seems to go from full charge to no-charge warning and back again. Generally, its become a flakey old phone. [livejournal.com profile] loree suggested I switch from Verizon to Team Mobile for better international coverage. Verizon has been trying to lure me into a long-term contract with phone deals for the past year, and I've just stuck with the one I had.

It has also been suggested I wait until I start at Microsoft and find out if they have some kind of deal to pay for a phone or some other related benefit. I was basically going to put it off until then...

Until tonight, when I fucking washed my phone in the laundry. I realized this when I transferred things to the dryer and heard a "thump. thump. thump." indicating something heavy was in there.

Oh, it's dead. It's really dead. Once it dries out I might try to charge it, but water-proof these things aren't.

I'm such an idiot.

So if you are having trouble reaching me on my cel, that would be why. Glad I went through it and copied all the phone numbers to my Outlook address book due in large part to it's increasing flakiness...
