Dec. 21st, 2003 11:12 pmPretty quiet week at Sierra... We had a company holiday potluck and gift exchange, but otherwise your average week.
I played a Living Force game online earlier in the week, which was fun as always. I have to wait on playing parts 2 & 3 some other time since they scheduled those games on the same weekend as New Year's Eve of Loser Fun 5. No biggie I suppose. This coming Monday and Tuesday will be a playtest for part 1 of the Winter Fantasy LF trilogy. Spent Saturday playing two Living Greyhawk games with the Tacoma group, and my primary LG character finally made a long-term goal of taking a weirdo prestige class at 11th level. I'll spare the reader the boring, geeky details, but I find it satisfying...
I slept in today to try to help alleviate my cold symptoms and got a call late in the afternoon for lunch from
jeliza. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing afternoon, including a visit to Gas Works Park to watch the sunset. I helped
drakemonger with dinner preparation while
jeliza picked up
rubylou from her meeting. I'm sorry I will miss their holiday events, but it was great to spend some time with them this weekend.
This work week will be very short as I fly out on Wednesday to Texas. Tex-mex here I come! With my limited vacation time I won't be spending as long a winter break at home this year, but I'm really looking forward to visiting with
onyxlynxx,
maggiemaepisces,
hdan,
appleang, and whomever else I can fit into my limited window of visiting opportunity.
