Yeah, Battlestar Galactica part 2 was pretty darn cool, and definitely set up for a series to continue it. Personally I'd like it to, but there is no shortage of aborted series that I loved and we never made.

I'm headed to GenCon SoCal tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it, and hopefully my flight will manage to get me there in time for the 3rd slot tomorrow night. I'm judging 4 slots and playing 4, but maybe I'll get released from a few judging slots and get more games in.

Despite this, rumor has it that it will not be picked up as a series by Sci-Fi Channel because, as usual, they can't really pay for good productions on an on-going basis--which is why they killed Farscape despite great ratings and fan support... Sigh.
