(no subject)

First the bit of malaise over Kim this week and then last night a really long and detailed dream about rejection starring Andrea. I really hate the way my subconscious works some days...

I was going to bake cookies and hang out with faecat and friends yesterday for Halloween. I left Sierra early and bought some groceries and picked up a new PC game The Temple Of Elemental Evil, which is a rendition of the classic Greyhawk adventure. Between putting away groceries, doing bills, and installing and checking out ToEE, I wasted a lot of my time.

So I started two batches of cookies--which I'm making primarily to take to the TERRA event--and get a call from jeliza to join her and her people (drakemonger and rubylou) for dinner. Since the arrival of the Divine Miss O, they don't get out as much, so I was more than happy to accompany them. It was a low-key but enjoyable evening with dinner at Charlie's on Broadway. Of course Cap Hill was full of freaks in costume--the most popular of which this year seems to be anything pirate themed. Two of the waitresses were dressed up as Number 6 and Number 24 from The Prisoner, which amused us greatly.

Need to bake up the rest of the cookie dough from last night and get going if I'm going to make both the UCC Living Greyhawk game in Tacoma and the TERRA Witches' Ball tonight.
