The weekend was a nice balance of social and alone time, although I wish it had lasted about a month longer. Spent Friday evening with a friend from Tacoma watching The Big Hit and Dangerous Beauty. Saturday was the OLOTEAS Eostara ritual--which for you non-pagan types is the Spring Equinox. This was the first time I had been to an OLOTEAS event, and was a bit nervous about going. As a result, I drug my feet and didn't get out there until just before the 'Newcomer's meeting' and the ritual proper. Cool people and a nice 'feel' to the group--at least based on a single night's experience--so I'm definitely going to make more of their monthly events. Sunday went to a business meeting for the local RPGA gaming club, had lunch with some of the attendees, and then promptly went home and spent the rest of the day irritating my neighbors with my new XBox and surround sound setup.

The next few weeks are looking to be fairly quiet, but April is chock full of weekend stuff with a local gaming con, Norwescon, and a probable trip back to Austin for a Beltaine camp out. I'm hoping to make the Seattle LJ Meet up Tuesday, which will hopefully be fun.
