walbournMade it back to San Antonio this afternoon. My parent's computer had been broken for about three weeks, so I brought a new power supply with me in an attempt to fix it--it is only a year old Dell, but past its 1 year warranty of course. It was possibly a problem with the motherboard or switch, but thankfully it turned out to be the power supply and an easy replacement job. So I'm now busily updating it with all the patches and stuff until next year's tune-up.
The trip to Austin was relaxing and social. I didn't see everyone I would have wanted to visit, but I did get to see many old friends. I did have a few ghosts to cope with, but overall it was an enjoyable trip.
Todd should be getting in tonight. His flight out of NYC is already delayed due to weather, so looks like I'll be picking him up pretty late tonight.
