walbournIt has been a very enjoyable weekend. Friday night was a fine dinner with co-workers after the Windows Graphics Summit, and frankly I ate so much great food over the duration f that event I'm afraid I'm in danger of developing gout. The gameday Saturday was enjoyable as usual, and pretty low-key overall. divinemisso. Today I'm trying to catch up on laundry, do some paperwork, and spend some quality time with the cat before the holiday trip back to Texas.
Work this week is likely to be pretty dead. Most of my group is on vacation already in that "use it or lose it" mode that impacts so many Microserfs this time of year. I have things to keep me busy through Wednesday, but I suspect I'll be heading home early towards the end of this week. Of course, if the pattern holds, some developer is going to call with a panicked emergency Friday at 5pm. Really, if they haven't shipped by Thanksgiving, they aren't shipping until next year and they should just go home and rest.
