Today went really well and I had a great time both running my Living Force low-level table and playing the 2-round high-level event. We were on the edge of our seats for nearly nine hours, and managed to make it through without a death--well, one death that was overturned by a 'Future Vision' favor--but it was touch and go. It was hands down the hardest earned 1400 xp for my Star Wars character ever. There was a huge collection of quotable-quotes, 12 Force Points expended, and lots and lots of Heroic Surge uses that whiffed. The author did an awesome job with this round, and our judge delivered a great experience. After the game, we had a late-night snack at a nearby restaurant including some other friends I never see except at the "Big 3" cons.

Phew.

I'm so done gaming this weekend, and it is a great to end it on a high-note. I refunded my ticket for an event tomorrow morning so I can sleep in and to not risk ruining the afterglow of a great few days of gaming playing something I can easily play back home.

hackard should be free for lunch, and I can spend the few hours before my flight home checking out the exhibit hall in more depth or chatting with friends. I'm really looking forward to getting home, although with

jeliza leaving soon for her vacation I'm not quite sure what else besides work and gaming will be on my plate for the next couple of weeks...
