Jul. 21st, 2004 10:01 pmMy third day at Microsoft made it clear to me why employees love the place and loved ones never see them again...
Morning meeting, then 1:1 with boss, do some work on my presentation while people are having a critical and interesting discussion in my doorway, off to morale event on the lake including BBQ & wave runners--which I really enjoyed since I've been meaning to rent some for a while--then back to the office for more work, then a swank dinner for someone on the team's 10-year anniversary, back to work to pick up my laptop, and then home to work some more on my presentation.
Lather. Rinse. Repeat.
I'm really enjoying the job, and hell I spent most of my free time doing things less productive and educational before like lots of gaming, Yahoo! groups, and LiveJournal but wow...
