Last Day! Carousel! Renew!

walbournToday is my last day at Sierra aka Vivendi Universal Games. The company is closing the offices permanently in about a month, and I've found new employment at Microsoft in the Windows 3rd Party Gaming group. I've turned in my badge and parking pass--which the facilities person has asked about way too many times today--, deleted all my personal files from my system, and gathered up the few remaining personal items in my office.
It's been a surreal experience working here, but educational. I'm looking forward to Microsoft being equally as surreal, if not more so, but also more of a challenge in terms of my career development. I've gotten a little lazy over the past year or so, taking it easy after the push for Voodoo Vince and the previous push to finish graduate school. I'm ready for something more substantial I think.
