"Kill Bill, Vol 2"
Jun. 30th, 2004 03:57 pmI enjoyed it, but where Vol 1 is so action-packed that it makes your head spin, Vol 2 is much more like a traditional QT movie: lots of quirky dialog and not nearly as much action. I think Kill Bill would have been a better work overall if he had actually been able to make it one 3 1/2 hour movie and pace it more evenly, but there was still a lot of fun stuff in it. I particularly like the training flash-back scenes. It was also great to see David Carradine actually get to act... not much in the way of action from him, but a solid performance as the (not-so-mysterious in Vol 2) Bill.
