I managed to find parking without too much trouble since it was near the end of the Pride March. I had a good brunch at Julia's on Broadway while watching the tail end of the parade go by. I then followed the route down to Volunteer Park to check out the Pride Festival a while. It was somewhere between Bite of Seattle and Lilith Faire in terms of feel, and was a sizeable crowd. The vendor booths were a mix of political action groups, community support, and a lot of company's pushing for business from this particular marketing demographic. Not much in the way of pro-Bush anything :> Volunteers were getting people to register to vote, and people seem to be enjoying themselves in the sunny "hot" (i.e. 76 degree high) weather.

The only annoying thing was the trash left along Broadway by the march spectators: "pick up your fucking trash!"
