It was a pretty quiet week back at work, although Friday afternoon was the annual Sierra mini-golf tournament, which was played through the halls. Most seem to enjoy the large ice-chests of beer as well. Too bad it wasn't outside Friday, as it was very sunny... That evening was a quite enjoyable birthday dinner for [livejournal.com profile] vraptorz.

Saturday was a very pleasant lunch with [livejournal.com profile] jeliza, a Living Force judge's prep round, and then [livejournal.com profile] kerri_tgrl's party. Overall the party was mostly conversation and (for others) boozing, with a bit of excitement over the pinata-bashing. I think that some of the louder music-DJ types that typically attend [livejournal.com profile] kerri_tgrl's parties weren't present. Today is less busy, but [livejournal.com profile] jeliza and I have plans this evening.

Next weekend is Norwescon, which I'm looking forward to. I should be there most of the con, with a fair amount of time down in the gaming room. Someone got a wild hair to try to bring back the 'good old days' of RPGA premieres at cons and ordered a bunch of stuff for it. Unfortunately, it has been proven that gamers now have access to less expensive and more regular gamedays and just don't come to general cons unless they are getting in on a free judge's pass or planned to come for the con itself. As such, I'll be impressed if we get a single table for all the events together... Really that is just as well, because I'd like to be free for the dances and some of the panels.
